Weekend in Volterra

Your visit can start from Porta San Matteo and Piazza Sant'Agostino, seat of the convent answering to the same name. Back on the main street, walk on to Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire a one of a kind cycle of frescoes surmounted by a starry vault.
